With a proven product and growing track record, Shipshave felt the need to evolve their brand to support future growth.

Brief

Shipshave aims to contribute to the sustainability of the shipping industry. Their pioneering product, ITCH is an easy-to-use, semi-autonomous robot designed to remove biofouling while vessels are in transit. The technology lets vessel owners proactively address biofouling, which can achieve significant fuel savings, resulting in lower emissions and operational costs. Having been in business for over 5 years and successfully delivered over 100 installations, Shipshave felt like 2024 was the right time for a brand refresh.
Approach

We started with a discovery session with the Shipshave team to get background into the business, it’s goals for the future, product offering and value.

From this session we started by working with the team on updating the company mission, vision, values, as well as the core company message. Once we had this messaging foundation established, we used this as a creative springboard to create a refreshed and updated visual identity.

With the identity elements all in place, we created a range of roll-out assets, so that they could take the new brand to market.

Outcome

Shipshave showcased their new identity at the industry renowned SMM event in Hamburg. Their stand featured the new identity, gaining them positive feedback from contacts and peers.

The company has also applied the new identity across their main marketing touchpoints and continues to establish the new brand platform within the business.
